The Summer Camp was organized with the objective of creating awareness among students on wildlife conservation, animal care, and environmental protection through interactive learning activities.
On Day 1, the camp commenced with registration, inauguration, guided zoo tour, wildlife documentary screening, and awareness sessions. On Day 2, students visited the animal feed room, interacted with veterinary doctors, learned about animal care and rescue equipment, and participated in the Zoo Logo Designing Competition along with proposing names for the Hippo calf naming ceremony. On Day 3, the camp concluded with a plantation programme organized on the eve of World Environment Day, followed by a valedictory function, certificate distribution, and prize distribution for competition winners.
